City of Belleville City Council met June 15.

7-B. Mayor Eckert will recognize Sherry Favre Salvatore for 3 1/2 years of service with the City of Belleville while serving as Director of Human Resources.
7-C. Mayor Eckert will recommend the promotion and appointment of Randy Smith, Sr., as Director of Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Lines, effective June 27, 2020 at 12:01 a.m.
7-D. Mayor Eckert will recommend the promotion and appointment of Jay Godt, as Assistant Director of Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Lines, effective June 27, 2020 at 12:01 a.m.
7-E. Mayor Eckert will recommend the appointment of Emma Qualls as Interim Human Resources Manager, effective immediately.
7-F. Mayor Eckert will recommend the appointment of Andy Gaa to fill a vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission left by Christina McCullough and to serve a 1-year term.

MOTION FROM PLANNING COMMISSION:
11-C(1). Bergmann-Roscow Plumbing Storage Building: Site Plan for the development of a 2,400 square foot storage building, located at 56 Empire Drive on a 1.1 acre, “D-1” Light Industry District zoned property. (parcel #08-25.0- 303-021) Ward 6 Planning Commission unanimously recommended Approval with the stipulation the City Engineer approve storm water detention plans prior to issuance of Building Permits.
11-D. MOTION FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND ANNEXATION:
11-D(1). Motion to approve a development agreement with Pinnacle Eateries, LLC for remodeling of the existing facility located at 648 Carlyle Avenue for a new restaurant.

17-A. Motor Fuel Claims in the Amount of $9,467.68.
18. EXECUTIVE SESSION
18-A.The City Council may go into executive session to discuss dismissal of specific employees (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)), the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or collective bargaining negotiation matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives (5 ILCS 120(c)(2)).
18-B. The City Council may take the following actions as a result of executive session:
• Possible motion to terminate Memorandum of Understanding with Teamsters, Petroleum and Allied Trades, Local Union No. 50 drivers and helpers/parks and recreation maintenance bargaining unit (Union) concerning bargaining-unit member furloughs, pursuant to Section 3 thereof, and recall Union employee Christopher Hertel from unpaid-furlough status, effective June 16, 2020.
• Possible motion to recall Housing Inspector(s) from unpaidfurlough status, effective June 16, 2020.
