Analysis: Troy pays $1.06 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Troy Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 51.7 percent of the $610,435 the Troy Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $1.06 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Troy contributed $315,493 to the fund, which saw a $181,652 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $294,942, or 48.3 percent, in 2018.
