City of O'Fallon issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.
The O’Fallon Public Works Department will be performing various projects throughout the City that will require small sections of road closures, September 14-18, 2020.
Deer Creek Road, just east of the intersection of Smiley Street, will be closed to patch the existing roadway. Drivers are urged to use Smiley Street and Highland Estates Drive as a detour route.
Summerlin Ridge, just west of the intersection of Troon Hollow, will be closed to patch the existing roadway. Drivers are urged to use Shawney Lane to Hodgens Mill Road to Lincoln Farm Road as a detour route.
State Street between Lincoln Avenue and Cherry Street will be closed to perform maintenance on the water system and patch the existing roadway. Drivers are urged to use Lincoln Avenue to Third Street to Oak Street as a detour route.
All work is expected to be completed by Friday, September 18, 2020, weather permitting.
