Millstadt Fire Protection District responded to 83 calls in 2018 - 10.7 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Millstadt included 50 fires - 32 structure fires, one vehicle fire and 17 other fires.

The department also received 33 false calls, including eight malicious calls and 25 other false calls.

The Millstadt Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $818,853 in 2018.
