Rosewood Heights Fire Protection District responded to 53 calls in 2018 - 7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Rosewood Heights included 43 fires - 15 structure fires, two vehicle fires and 26 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $37,300 in fire loss - or about $867 per fire.

The department also received nine false calls.

The Rosewood Heights Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $217,467 in 2018.
