Bethalto Fire District responded to 24 calls in 2018, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Bethalto included nine fires - four structure fires, three vehicle fires and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $11,302 in fire loss - or about $1,256 per fire.

The department also received 15 false calls, including one malicious call and 14 other false calls.
