City of Alton City Council met June 10.

A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Alton, Illinois was held in the City Hall Building, Alton, Illinois Via Teleconference at the hour of 6:30 P.M. on the above date.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Walker.
The Council Members present on call of the roll:
PRESENT: Campbell, MacAfee, Velloff, Smith, Brake, Boulds – 6
ABSENT: Elliott - 1
Mayor Walker called upon Alderwoman MacAfee to lead the Pledge to the Flag. PUBLIC HEARING
Corporation Counselor Schrempf asked for a motion to open the Public Hearing. Mr. Boulds made a motion, seconded by Mrs. MacAfee, to open the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing opened at 6:33 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE CORPORATE AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF ALTON, ILLINOIS, that the Budget and Appropriation documents for the City of Alton, for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2020, will be on file and conveniently available to public inspection on the City of Alton website – WWW.CITYOFALTONIL.COM beginning at 9:00 A.M., on May 29, 2020 and thereafter for not less than ten days.
NOTICE IF FURTHER HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing on the Appropriation Ordinance for the City of Alton for the fiscal year beginning April l, 2020 will be held at 6:30 P.M., on the 10th day of June, 2020 via teleconference, Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third St., Alton, Illinois, and that action by the City Council will be taken on said appropriation ordinance at the regular Council Meeting thereafter.

Mr. Brake made a motion, seconded by Mrs. MacAfee, that the Public Hearing adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Campbell, MacAfee, Velloff, Smith, Brake, Boulds – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott
The Public Hearing adjourned at 6:34 P.M.
