Republican Lisa Ciampoli lost her election bid for District 112 House seat to Democratic incumbent Katie Stuart.
Ciampoli conceded in a post on her Facebook page.
“Congratulations to Representative Katie Stuart. I wish her the best as she continues to represent the people of the 112th district,” wrote Stuart.
She went on to thank those who supported her during the election campaign.
“Five months ago, I launched my campaign for state representative. Despite the uphill battle we faced, a group of dedicated volunteers gave countless hours to walk precincts and make phone calls, and I’m grateful for their efforts,” read the post in part.
