City of Alton Committee of the Whole met Nov. 9.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Audit of Accounts.

4. Resolution, re: That the attached Ordinance pertaining to establishing a no parking zone on Mildred Street be considered.

5. Resolution, re: That the attached Ordinance pertaining to establishing a no parking zone on Kennedy Street be considered.

6. Resolution, re: That Amelia Street from the west end of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church located at 2621 Amelia Street to its intersection with Clawson Street be closed on October 24, 2020, to facilitate a church event.

7. Resolution, re: That the Deputy Comptroller be and is hereby authorized to list for sale the following vehicles at a value of not less than what is listed through an auction with the proceeds from the sale being deposited into the vehicle line of the police budget.

8. Resolution, re: The Agreement between the City of Alton and Illinois American Water Company Inc. for the purchase of the sanitary sewer system of the City of Alton included a provision that the City would abate taxes for 5 years on a declining scale each year and that an appropriate ordinance be considered in substantially the form as attached hereto and made a part hereof.

9. Bid Report and Resolution, re: Bid #2020 – 20 Asbestos Abatement at 1110 East 6th Street, 2018 Central Avenue, and 269 Madison Avenue for the Building and Zoning Department.

10. Bid Report and Resolution, re: Bid #2020 – 21; Demolition of 1321 Central Avenue for the Building and Zoning Department.

11. Adjourn.
