Resolution, re: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of one million two hundred sixty-six thousand three hundred ninety-four and 39/100 Dollars of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining streets and highways under the applicable provisions of Illinois Highway Code from 01/01/21 to 12/31/21.
j. Resolution, re: That a tax levy ordinance and any tax levy abatement ordinances that may be appropriate for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of April 2020 and ending on the 31st day of March 2021 be considered in a form as recommended by the City Comptroller.
k. Resolution, re: The Illinois Department of Transportation has increased the spending limit of Motor Fuel Tax funds up to $25,000.00 for municipalities with less than 500,000 population without requiring a public bid opening and formal contract in accordance with Illinois Revised Statute 65 ILCS 5/8-9-1, and that Section 1-13-9-2 (C) of the Alton City Code be revised.
l. Resolution, re: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Alton the attached letter from Bluff City Minerals dated October 15, 2020 extending the lease Agreement with Bluff City, Minerals LLC through December 31, 2030.
