Reports from Mayor and Other Officers

Mayor Bost announced that the CMHS Homecoming Parade is scheduled for October 8, with a revised route this year. The parade will leave the high school and travel south down Old Bethalto Road to Plegge Boulevard, then east on Plegge to Prairie, where it will end. This will require closure of Jersey and Ridgeway Streets for approximately 45-60 minutes that day. Chief Dixon stated that this is the “safest route we’ve ever had” and that with the assistance of Public Works and school officials the parade should go on with little disruption to residents and traffic. Insurance certificates and endorsements have been received by the Village. There were no questions or comments.

Mayor Bost announced the need to enter Executive Session to discuss Personnel per 5 ILCS 120/2 Section 2 (c) (1). Entered executive session at 6:02pm.

Returned to regular session at 6:16pm.

Having no further business, motion to adjourn made by Lowrance, seconded by Dugger. All voted aye viva voce, meeting adjourned at 6:17pm.
