Report: Wolf Branch School District spent $10,485 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Wolf Branch School District 113 was up 10.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Metro East Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saint Clair County school district spent $9,456 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,485 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 809 to 717 students over the same period.

Wolf Branch's spending in 2019-20 was 27.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
