3. Belleville Crossing
Motion to approve The Kilian Corporation, lowest responsive bidder, in the amount of $472,159.40 for resurfacing, pavement markings and ADA accessible ramp construction from 350 Feet Northwest of Belleville West parkway to Voellinger Place (approximately 4,300 feet) of Belleville Crossing Street. 4. Belleville Crossing Construction Inspection Proposal for Gonzalez Companies, LLC
Motion to approve Gonzalez Companies, LLC in the amount of $15,870.00 for Construction Inspection of Belleville Crossing. (RBI Funds)
5. Belleville Crossing Construction Administration and related Resolution A motion to approve Gonzalez Companies for Belleville Crossing Agreement and related resolution for Construction Administration in the amount of $20,000.00 (RBI Funds)
6. Reunion Blvd. Storm Sewers and Pavement Improvement Proposal for TWM Motion to approve TWM in the amount of $13,700.00 for engineering services for Reunion Blvd storm sewers and pavement improvements. (TIF 10 Funds)
7. Removal of Parking along First Block of South First Street; St. Clair Courthouse Security Renovation and Addition project.
Motion to approve removal of parking along the East side of First Street, between the corner at West Main and the corner at West Washington, removing meters and installing signage to mark the change.
8. Oates Associates Proposal for Pavement Striping
Motion to approve Oates Associates in the amount of $19,900.00 for performing field checks, prepare plans, specifications and estimates for refreshing pavement markings at various locations. (MFT/TIF Funds)
9. Sidewalk Trip Hazard Elimination Proposal for Precision Concrete Cutting Motion to approve Precision Concrete Cutting, in the amount of $8,297.00 to “saw cut” sidewalk trip hazards parallel to the walkways located along/near Main St. (from West A St. to North Charles St.) to eliminate trip hazards. Precision Concrete Cutting will correct about 81 trip hazards requiring about 189 Inch Feet of cutting. (MFT Funds)
10. On Demand Engineering and Surveying Agreement for Lochmueller Group Motion to approve Lochmueller Group, in the amount of $20,000.00 to provide certain Professional Engineering, Surveying, Planning and/or Environmental Services on an “as-needed” basis. (General/TIF Funds)
11. On Demand Engineering and Surveying Agreement for Gonzalez Companies Motion to approve Gonzalez in the amount of $10,000.00 to provide on-call services to complete tasks associated with projects. (General/TIF Funds)
12. Oates Associates Proposal for South 16th Street
Motion to approve Proposal from Oates Associates, in the amount of $67,700.00 to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for S. 16th Street from S. Belt West to Premier Appliance, a total of 1,100 ft. Work includes new sidewalks, concrete curbs, and mill and overlay on the asphalt pavement. Street will be widened by converting the barrier curb to a combination curb and gutter. (TIF 3 Funds)
13. Oates Associates Proposal for Raab Ave.
Motion to approve Proposal from Oates Associates, in the amount of $71,500.00 to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for Raab Avenue from S. 19th Street to 150’ east of S. 16th Street, a total of 1,100 ft. Work includes new sidewalks, concrete curbs, and mill and overlay on the asphalt pavement. (TIF 3 Funds)
14. IDOT Acquisition from City of ROW and Temporary Easement along IL159 IDOT proposes to make ADA improvements along FAP 600 (IL 159) which requires the acquisition of 288 sq ft. of land as fee simple and 200 sq. ft. of land as a temporary construction easement for four years. Total Compensation for Entire Acquisition, $600.00, paid to the City of Belleville.
