City of Edwardsville Public Services Committee met Oct. 10.

I. Public Comment: None.

II. Council Matters: 

A. Approval of Minutes from the September 26, 2023 Public Services Committee meeting:

Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Miracle seconding the motion. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for information.

B. Approval of a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract with GRP Mechanical Company, Inc. dba GRP Wegman Company in the amount of $3,694,660.00 through the The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) Contract #220104 Energy Savings Performance Contracts Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for the installation of a solar power field adjacent to the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 3900 Wanda Road. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.

C. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Mayor to Sign a License for City of Edwardsville Welcome Sign on IL-157 with Madison County Mass Transit District Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Miracle seconding the motion. Staff explained that this license will allow the City to construct and maintain a City Entrance Sign, landscaping, and lighting located west of IL 157, near 917 Hillsboro Avenue. Ayes - Warren. Miracle. Abstain - Morrison. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.
