City of Fairview Heights Administration Committee met Oct. 11.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members in attendance - Aldermen Frank Menn, Anthony LeFlore, Barbara Brumfield (virtual), Pat Peck, Denise Williams, and Mark Kupsky (ExOfficio Member)

Committee Members absent -

Other Aldermen and Elected Officials in attendance - Aldermen Josh Frawley, Ryan Vickers (virtual), Brenda Wagner, Bill Poletti (virtual), and Harry Zimmerman

Staff in attendance - Finance Director Gina Rader, HR Manager Becky Thompson, Public Works Director John Harty, Chief of Police Steve Johnson (virtual), Public Works Administrative Assistant Jill Huffman, Land Use & Development Director Dallas Alley (virtual), IT Manager Chris Elliott (virtual), and Attorney Andrew Hoerner

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

None

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion and a second were made by Alderman Pat Peck/Alderman Denise Williams to approve the September 13, 2023 Administrative Committee minutes. Roll call to approve the September 13, 2023 Administrative Committee minutes showed Aldermen Menn, LeFlore, Brumfield, Peck, and Williams voting "Yea." Motion carried.

FINANCE

Alderman Pat Peck, Chairman

BILL LIST

Motion and a second were made by Alderman Denise Williams/Alderman Anthony LeFlore to forward the bill list to City Council for approval in the amount of $2,639,442.40. Roll call to forward the bill list in the amount of $2,639,442.40 to City Council showed Aldermen Menn, LeFlore, Brumfield, Peck, and Williams voting "Yea." Motion carried.

BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS

Mayor Kupsky stated that the budget adjustments will be part of the continuation for next weeks meeting.

Finance to be continued to Tuesday, October 17th at 6:50 p.m. prior to City Council.

FORCE LEVEL UPDATES

Mayor Kupsky stated that the Force Level updates all relate to the transition of the functions of the Clerk's office to Finance.

Motion and a second were made by Alderman Pat Peck/Alderman Frank Menn to forward the Force Level updates to City Council for approval. Roll call to forward the Force Level updates to City Council showed Aldermen Menn, LeFlore, Brumfield, Peck, and Williams voting "Yea." Motion carried.

Mayor Kupsky thanked HR Manager Becky Thompson for her work.
