Proposed Ordinance No. 15-’23, an Ordinance abating the tax hereto levied for the year 2023 to pay the principal of and interest on the Nine Million Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollar (9,470,000.00) General Obligation Bonds, Series 2017 of the City of Fairview Heights, St. Clair County, Illinois. 

Proposed Ordinance No. 16-’23, an Ordinance abating the tax hereto levied for the year 2023 to pay the principal of and interest on the Seven Million Nine Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollar ($7,925,000.00) General Obligation Bonds, Series 2018 of the City of Fairview Heights, St. Clair County, Illinois. 

Proposed Ordinance No. 17-’23, an Ordinance to provide for the levy of a tax for Library purposes, pursuant to the Local Library Act (75 ILCS 5/3-1), for the City of Fairview Heights, St. Clair County, IL for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024 and ending April 30, 2025. 

Proposed Ordinance No. 18-’23, an Ordinance abating the tax hereto levied for Library purposes fo the fiscal year starting May 1, 2024 and ending April 30, 2025, in the amount of Eight Hundred Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred Seven Dollars ($818,407.00). (Administration Committee) 

K. NEW BUSINESS 

Proposed Ordinance No. 19-’23, an Ordinance regarding the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act for the City of Fairview Heights, Illinois. (Administration Committee) 

Motion – to appoint Jen Knepper to the Library Board, filling the unexpired term of Don Baden, term to expire May 1, 2025.
