City of Edwardsville Cool Cities Initiative Advisory Committee met Dec. 21.

Meeting called to order at 6:02 pm

Guests: Sara Cundiff, chair of Tree and Beautification Commission, Jake Essner
Minutes approved.
Parking ordinance status update: draft completed. No more minimums for parking spots. Code update adding references to other code sections and incorporate parking code into the other sections. Will start going through the committees for review at the beginning of the year.
Green Cities Challenge: Award given to the Mayor at December 19 City Council. New season starts in April.
Cara spoke on the lack of communication about the dissolution of Cool Cities to combine with Tree and Beautification. Heard through "heresay", not from the city that appointed her.
