Illinois State Representative Amy Elik (R-Alton) has been appointed as the Assistant House Republican Leader, joining the leadership team chosen by House Republican Leader Tony McCombie (R-Savanna).

In her statement, Rep. Amy Elik expressed her readiness to take the lead on issues that will contribute to improving the quality of life and work in Illinois.
