City of Edwardsville Public Services Committee met Feb. 13.

I.  Public Comment: None. 

II.  Council Matters: 

A. Approval of Minutes from the January 30, 2024 Public Services Committee meeting: 

Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for information. 

B. Supplemental Resolution for Improvements Under the Illinois Highway Code 

Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for the appropriation of REBUILD IL along with Motor Fuel Tax for the construction for University Drive - Phase 2. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration. 

C. Sole Source Resolution for Drainage Improvements on Abner Place in the amount of $318,725.00 

Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for a contract with Keller Construction for drainage improvements on Abner Place. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration. 

D. Resolution Approving Distributed Energy Resource Agreement between the City of Edwardsville and Voltus, Inc. 

Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for a demand response program in regard to electrical consumption. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.

1. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing an Adopt-A-Highway Agreement with the Land of Goshen Rotary Club - Held 

2. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing an Adopt-A-Highway Agreement with Paul and Mary Peters-Held 

3. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing an Adopt-A-Highway Agreement with The Lochmueller Group - Held
