On Saturday, March 2, former Gillespie High School standout Sydney Bires’ current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place in O'Fallon, Illinois. This was their first matchup against the Davenport Panthers this season.
