On Friday, February 16, former Decatur Central High School standout Payton Baxter’s current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II game against the Ashland Eagles.

The game took place in Smyrna, Tennessee. This was their first matchup against the Ashland Eagles this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Smyrna, Tennessee against Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.
