On Sunday, February 18, former Decatur Central High School standout Payton Baxter’s current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II game against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.

The game took place in Smyrna, Tennessee. This was their first matchup against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Monday, February 19 at 3 p.m. in Smyrna, Tennessee against Tiffin Dragons.
