OTHER BUSINESS

-Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for lifeguards. Qualified applicants with a current lifeguard certification hired by the City will be offered a $250.00 bonus upon completion of working 250 hours at Donor Pool during the 2024 season.

-Friendly reminder regarding mowing season – We are appreciative of the public keeping their yards looking nice now that spring has arrived. Please refrain from blowing grass clippings onto public sidewalks and into the streets. Not only can loose grass clippings present a hazard for pedestrians and bicycles, but grass clippings get washed down into storm drains and clog the pipes and catch basins, which leads to street flooding. One option is to blow the grass back onto the mowed lawn. Another option is to sweep and collect the yard waste, which can be taken to the City refuse site for those with dump permits. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping the City clean!
