Representative Amy Elik joined local leaders in Granite City to celebrate the opening of the new Neon Sign Park. This addition is among many attractions along historic Route 66, anticipating the centennial celebration of the route in 2026. The park is located at the corner of 19th and Delmar in Granite City.

“What a fun night,” said Elik. “Granite City debuted the phenomenal Route 66 electric sign park, with hundreds of people in attendance to enjoy the food trucks, band, and of course the sign lighting! This event exceeded everyone’s expectations and was just an absolutely fantastic and fun evening.”

Elik congratulated Granite City, Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, and other local leaders who contributed to this project.
