City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met July 11
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Alderwoman Miracle called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Roll Call: Alderwoman Miracle, Acting Chair, and Alderman Farrar were present. Alderman Krause was excused.
Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Kevin Head, City Administrator; Mike Lybarger, Deputy Police Chief; Brenden Mckee, Deputy Fire Chief; and Cathy Hensley, Communication Coordinator.
No public comment was made.
Motion by Miracle, seconded by Farrar to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on June 27, 2024. Motion carried with Miracle and Farrar voting aye.

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, July 16, 2024 Council meeting.
Motion by Miracle, seconded by Farrar, to approve and forward to Council a Resolution Authorizing Purcahse of One (1) E-One Custome Pumper Mounted on a 2025/2026 Typhoon Chassis in an Amount Not to Exceed $910,000.00 Through the Sourcewell Joint Purchasing Contract #113021-RVG-1 from Banner Fire Equipment, Inc.. Motion carried with Miracle and Farrar voting aye.
Motion by Miracle, seconded by Farrar, to approve and forward to Council Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Two (2) 2025 Ford Explorer Interceptors from Morrow Brothers Ford, Inc., and Associated Equipment not to exceed $127,368.48. Motion carried with Miracle and Farrar voting aye.
Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, August 01, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 4:11 p.m.
