State Representatives Kevin Schmidt and Charlie Meier have announced a joint “Coffee Talk” at the New Baden Civic Center on Tuesday, August 20. This event aims to provide constituents with an opportunity to discuss important issues face-to-face with their representatives.

“Transparency is lacking in our government, and I am working to change that,” said Rep. Schmidt. “Constituents deserve the opportunity to interact with their Representatives, and what better way than over a cup of coffee!”

The district lines of Representatives Schmidt and Meier intersect through New Baden. “I’m looking forward to sitting down with Rep. Schmidt in New Baden and listening to our constituents,” said Rep. Meier. “I encourage anyone who wants to talk or listen to join us. Let’s work together to address the challenges we face and put forward solutions.”

The Coffee Talk will be held on Tuesday, August 20 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the New Baden Civic Center, located at 100 E. Birch Street, New Baden, Illinois.
