U.S. District Judge John Blakey has decided not to dismiss several criminal charges against Mike Madigan, despite a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision. The former Illinois House Speaker is scheduled to face trial in less than a week.
Madigan's corruption trial is set to commence on October 8.
