Test expectations: How many students met or exceeded Math IAR expectations in Madison Community Unit School District 12 in 2022-23 school year?

In the 2022-23 school year, 2.3% of the students in Madison Community Unit School District 12 passed the Math portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 257 students in Madison Community Unit School District 12 who took the Math portion of the test, approximately six (2.3%) passed.

The percentage of Madison Community Unit School District 12 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR decreased by 1.7% compared to the previous school year.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
