Smithton baseball team wins state championship; receives recognition from Rep. Schmidt

Rep. Schmidt has extended congratulations to the Smithton School Boys Baseball Team for their victory in the 2024 SIJHSAA Class M State Championship. The team's achievement was acknowledged with a recognition sign, facilitated through collaboration with IDOT.

"Congratulations to Coach Mark Tampow and the Smithton School Boys Baseball Team for winning the 2024 SIJHSAA Class M State Championship earlier this year!" Rep. Schmidt stated.

"Our office was honored to work with IDOT to help get this recognition sign made," he added, expressing pride in their successful season.
