State Representative Kevin Schmidt has introduced a new initiative aimed at recognizing local businesses within the 114th legislative district. The Business of the Month program will feature one business each month, highlighting them on social media, his website, and through local media outlets. Additionally, selected businesses will receive a certificate to display.

Rep. Schmidt emphasized the importance of small businesses in the district, stating, “The 114th district is home to so many outstanding small businesses. I chose to start this program so we can bring more attention to some of these businesses. These businesses are truly the backbone of our economy, and I’m proud to support them with this program.”

Community members can nominate businesses for consideration using an online form available at RepSchmidt.com. Each month, one business will be chosen from the submissions.
