Rep. Mike Bost, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 12th district since 2015, shared a series of tweets highlighting upcoming events and national recognitions relevant to his constituents in Southern Illinois.

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Bost announced an upcoming telephone town hall scheduled for Monday, February 24th at 6:00 PM CT. He emphasized the importance of hearing directly from residents about key issues affecting Southern Illinois. The event comes shortly after the inauguration of President Trump and the swearing-in of a new Congress. "On Monday, February 24th at 6:00 PM CT, I’ll be hosting a telephone town hall to hear directly from you about the issues that matter most to Southern Illinois."

In another tweet dated February 19, 2025, Rep. Bost acknowledged National Entrepreneurship Week by recognizing the contributions of entrepreneurs in Southern Illinois who are pivotal in job creation and innovation. He encouraged small business owners or those considering starting their own businesses to access resources he provided via a link. "This week is National Entrepreneurship Week, a time where we recognize the hardworking men and women across Southern Illinois who take risks, create jobs, and drive innovation."

Rep. Bost also celebrated National FFA Week on February 20, 2025. As a former member himself, he expressed pride in nearly 400 chapters and over 41,000 members within Illinois contributing to the state's agricultural heritage and future growth. "It’s National FFA Week. As a former member myself, I’m happy to celebrate the work of nearly 400 Chapters and over 41,000 members in Illinois."
