Madison County taxpayers paid $1.3 million in Metro-East Transit District Sales Tax in December 2024, according to Illinois tax records.

This figure marks a noticeable increase from the previous month, where Metro-East Transit District Sales Tax collection stood at $1.3 million.

Over the past 12 months, Madison County's residents have collectively paid a total of $13.9 million in Metro-East Transit District Sales Tax.
