Bost, who has been a congressional representative since 2015 and previously served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1995 to 2015, provided insights into both personal and professional engagements.
On May 9, Rep. Bost congratulated Emily Zumbahlen of Teutopolis High School for her achievement in winning this year’s Congressional Art Competition. In his post, he highlighted that her oil painting titled "Splashing into Serenity" will be displayed in the halls of the U.S. Capitol. On May 10, Rep. Bost attended a meeting with the Railway Supply Institute’s Government & Public Affairs Committee in Washington D.C., where he discussed rail's vital role both locally and nationally as part of his responsibilities on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. "I had the opportunity to join the Railway Supply Institute’s Government & Public Affairs Committee meeting in D.C. to talk about the critical role rail plays in Southern Illinois and across the country."
