Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt is inviting employers to participate in a free jobs fair aimed at connecting businesses with potential employees. The event will take place on Thursday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wyvetter H. Younge Higher Education Campus Multipurpose Room, Building D, located at 601 James Thompson Blvd. in East St. Louis.
Employers interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their space due to limited availability by contacting Julie at 815-464-9908 or via email.
Schmidt, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state's 114th House District, taking over from former state representative LaToya Greenwood.
