The Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Dental Medicine will hold its Annual Veterans Dental Care Day on November 13, 2025. The event offers free dental services, including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions for veterans. Those interested in participating must schedule an appointment starting October 15, 2025, by calling (618) 474-7062.
The event is part of ongoing efforts to support veterans in the region. Kevin Schmidt, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the 114th House District, succeeding LaToya Greenwood.
