Stuart catches heat for not answering question on support for Madigan

On Election Day, Katie Stuart defeated state Rep.Dwight Kay (R-Glen Carbon) for the District 112 state House seat, and Stuart isnow under scrutiny over an answer she gave to a reporter's question about whether or not she wouldvote for state Rep. Mike Madigan (D-Chicago) to remain House speaker.

Dist. 113 state House candidate blasts incumbent over budget vote

Katherine Ruocco, Republican state House candidate for District 113, called out her opponent after he voted in favor of House Speaker Mike Madigan's (D-Dist. 22) unbalanced budget proposal, which would have raised taxes for the average working family by $1,000 per year and given the Chicago Public School system a $700 million bailout.
