Katherine Ruocco, the Republican candidate for Illinois’ House District 113, Metro East, has written a story published on Facebook warning about listening to the lies of career politicians this election season. The title of her article is “The Art of Lying with Career Politicians.”

“Here we go,” she wrote. “Election time again and out come the career politicians, including my opponent well-tenured, twenty-five year incumbent, Rep. Hoffman, with the painful truth stretching, that us common folk call lying. The most recent fantasy story told by Hoffman is his Facebook post today which reads in part ‘You need to stand up to Springfield and Chicago if you want to get things done. Jay Hoffman’s done that his whole career....’ Really? In what universe is he referring to???”

Rucco brought attention to Hoffman’s attempt to “force income tax rates to record highs” and voting to support the state legislature’s agenda before warning voters to “beware of career politicians this election season.”

She concluded her article by saying, “Vote ‘NO’ to the status quo and Illinois continuing to win first prize for the worst run state in the union. We simply can’t afford to support these career politicians and their fiction any longer.”
