Glen Carbon, Illinois has released its Village Board's minutes from a recent meeting where it discussed the Annual Veterans Day Parade, the Faith in Action Gala and more.
The November 11th Annual Veterans Day Parade was the first announcement at the meeting. It was also announced that Mayor Robert Jackstadt would serve as the Master of Ceremony at the Local Faith in Action Gala and Auction Fundraiser. Faith in Action benefits local seniors through a variety of services with the goal of keeping seniors independent and in their homes.
As for new business, the Village Board discussed the annual financial report and management letter from Hothschild, Bloom and Company. Scott Borror was approved as the Director of Finance for the Village.
