Madison County Health Department Committee met today to discuss purchase requests and reports on other issues

The Health Department Committee for Madison County, Illinois met today to discuss purchase requests, new business, and reports on other issues.

After the public comment portion of the meeting, the committee discussed the monthly expense report and purchase requests. The committee then covered new business. The committee also reviewed the Public Health Administrator’s Report and the Health Advisory Committee Report.

The Madison County Health Department is certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health to plan and implement a community health initiative. The goal is to address the key health needs of Madison County residents. The Public Health Administrator for the county is Toni Corona.
