The Madison County, Illinois Board has released its agenda for its upcoming meeting on Dec. 16, where it will cover new appointments and a host of sub-committee resolutions.
John Hopkins will be recommended for appointment to the Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau. Jeff Scholebo will be recommended for appointment to the Mitchell Fire Protection District. James Gray will be recommended for reappointment to the Madison County Housing Authority. Ron Parente will be recommended for reappointment to the Madison County Park and Recreation Commission. Frank Laub will be recommended for reappointment to the Metro East Sanitary District. Mark Ringering will be recommended for reappointment to the Sheriff’s Merit Commission.
Multiple resolutions for different sub-committees will be discussed. This includes a resolution to purchase 10 new police interceptor utility vehicles and two new police interceptor sedan replacement vehicles for the Madison County Sheriff’s office. Additionally, the Information Technology Committee and Finance and Government Operations Committee will present a resolution to renew the property tax and online property inquiry as well as the permitting and zoning software license, maintenance and support for the Madison County IT department.
