The Emergency Services and Disaster Agency of Godfrey, Illinois will hold a special committee meeting on Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at the Godfrey Fire Station #1, which is located at 6011 Godfrey Rd.
The committee will first hear public comments and review the minutes from its Oct. 28 meeting. Then, it will discuss the EOP/Disaster plan.
There are several important new business items to go over as well. The committee will discuss regular monthly scheduled “code red” sign-up drives. Another conversation will focus on postponed coordination with property management firms for residential rental facilities, ensuring universal smoke detector procedures.
Another important agenda item is a discussion on whether to continue working with Madison County, Illinois Emergency Management Association and Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System on providing Godfrey with a Illinois terrorism task force “starcom” radio.
