The Board of Trustees for Godfrey Township, Illinois convened recently on various city issues, including meeting schedules and holiday schedules.
The meeting began with the approval of township minutes and various bills, including the general fund, the general assistance fund, the Social Security fund, the audit fund, the insurance fund and the IMRF fund.
The board then discussed the 2015 tax levy, the 2016 holiday schedule and the 2016 meeting schedule. Finally, any comments from elected officials and public comments were heard.
Township supervisor Doug Mueller presided over the meeting. The board of trustees includes Mayor Mike McCormick, Clerk Pamela E. Whisler and trustees Sarah Johnes, Karen McAtee, Joseph Springman III, Mark Stewart, Michael G. Stumpf and Eldon Williams. The board meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at City Hall.
