The Government Relations Committee for Madison County, Illinois met recently to review an agreement between Edwardsville and Glen Carbon.
After approving the minutes from its previous meeting and listening to public comment, the committee discussed the intergovernmental agreement with Edwardsville and Glen Carbon regarding the I55 Corridor Plan. Afterwards, the committee gave a legislative update and talked about any new business from the month.
The meeting was held in the Madison County Administration Building, located at 157 N. Main Street in Edwardsville.
The Government Relations Committee's main function is to liaise with federal, state and local officials on all legislative issues that affect Madison County.
Kelly Tracy is the chair of the committee, which counts Jack Minner, Nick Petrillo, Judy Kuhn, Mike Walters, Brenda Roosevelt and Jim Dodd as members.
