Madison County Grants Commission to review 2016 green initiatives at upcoming meeting.
The Madison County Grants Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in the Nellie Hagnauer Board Conference Room, number 145, of the administration building.
After approving the minutes from its previous meeting, the committee will hear public comments and approve any outstanding reports. It will look at a purchase order for an SIU intern, then go over five new business agenda items. These items are bill and purchase requests, a resolution for green school environment grants for fiscal year 2016, the green seed environment grand funding report, an employment and training update and an MCCD administrator update.
The Grants Committee oversees the community development and employment and training departments, liaises with the Workforce Development Board and the Park and Recreation Grant Commission and reviews grant opportunities.
