The City of Troy has requested bids for the 2016 grass-cutting season.
The City of Troy is now accepting bids for grass cutting for the 2016 season.
All applicants should review the city’s bid specifications and apply before Feb. 26.
Successful bidders will need to provide all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to maintain several properties in the city, including Troy City Hall, Spencer Park, Paul Simon Memorial Park, the City Cemetery and more.
All locations will need to be maintained to a level where they are considered pleasant to view. Work will begin immediately, as cutting and trimming is already needed at most properties. Successful bidders will also need to include the entire cutting season -- eight months -- in their bid.
