The Glen Carbon Cool Cities Committee convened Wednesday at Village Hall to assess environmental initiatives, discuss the committee webpage and examine the climate action plan.
The committee also listened to a report on the rain barrel project by Cathy Reinhard and heard from citizens wishing to speak before the committee.
The Cool Cities Committee meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month, usually at the Public Safety Facility.
Committee members include Reinhard, Chris Kusa, John Slosar, Carol Juen and Diane Todd.
