The Gardening, Landscaping, Enhancing Nature (GLEN) Committee for the village of Glen Carbon will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday to order an Arbor Day plaque and invite the community to its April event.
The committee will discuss garden cleanup (including removing landscape fabric) till dates and planting plans, and talk about the fact that Glen Carbon will celebrate 125 years in 2017.
Also on the agenda are public comment and a report from the village gardener.
The meeting will be held in the community room at the Public Safety Facility, which is located at 149 N. Main St.
