In a recent Committee of the Whole meeting, the city of Alton discussed whether it should amend its animal control ordinance so that community cats may be sterilized, vaccinated and returned.
The committee also looked at a resolution discussing whether it should be a matter of public record that the city supports the Alton Regional Convention and Visitor Bureau as the state certified bureau for the Alton Metroplex.
Additional highlights from the meeting included lease agreements between the city and Tony’s Lounge Inc., the city and Ragin Cajun, the city and Chez Marilyn Inc., the city and Catdaddy’s Tavern and the city and Bossanova of Alton.
