The Civil Service Commission for the city of Alton recently held a discussion on job descriptions and positions.
Specifically, the discussion covered applications, job descriptions, positions, promotions, resignations, retirements and new business.
The commission held a closed session to examine matters of personnel and pending litigation.
The meeting was held in Room 203 at Alton City Hall, which is located at 101 E. Third St. The commission meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
