The Alton Firemen’s Pension Fund recently met to discuss the upcoming Illinois Pro’s Pension Seminar, which will be held Friday, May 6.
Existing business examined at the meeting included a cougar mountain software update, a note on the IPPAC Conference in late May, the announcement of trustee elections on April 18 and a request for proposal for an investment advisor.
During the application for benefits portion of the meeting, the board talked about the death of Dean Copeland and surviving spouse benefits for Vida Smith-Copeland.
The fund also gave updates on recent completed investment activity.
